Millennium Commercial Hub, Passing on the Torch
Mr. Xie Bingzheng, Chairman of Beiyinlefen Group
Serves as Torchbearer for the Hangzhou Asian Games in his Hometown Wenzhou
On September 15, Mr. Xie Bingzheng, as the 16th torchbearer for the Hangzhou 19th Asian Games Torch Relay - Wenzhou leg, passed on the torch from the millennium business port, symbolizing the spirit of daring to be the first and staying ahead of the times!
Mr. Xie, born in Cangnan County, Wenzhou, started his business at the age of 18. In 2003, he founded Beiyinlefen, positioning the brand in the niche field of golf, pioneering the high-end sportswear market in China. With visionary strategic planning, he created a unique development model, leading Beiyinlefen to become a partner of the Chinese national golf team, a publicly listed company on the A-share market, and the first Chinese golf apparel brand. Over the past two decades, Beiyinlefen has grown from a single-brand company to an international luxury goods group, becoming a leader in high-end apparel in China.
In this year's Hangzhou Asian Games, Beiyinlefen once again designed the competition uniforms for the Chinese national golf team, supporting athletes in their quest for victory. Mr. Xie stated, "As a partner of the national team, we must shoulder the responsibility and contribute to the development of China's sports industry!"
As a torchbearer for this edition of the Asian Games, Mr. Xie has a strong connection to sports and has contributed significantly to his hometown. In recent years, he has donated one billion yuan, funding the construction of roads, scenic areas, and a tourism village with flowing stones, enhancing the well-being of local residents. With an investment of ten billion yuan, he established the Cangnan Hilton Hotel, improving the county's image and promoting local development. Recognized as the "Most Beautiful Wenzhou Resident and Touching Figure in Wenzhou" in 2022, in September of this year, he donated another one billion yuan to establish the Bingzheng Education Fund, supporting local education initiatives. Mr. Xie stated, "Wenzhou is the hometown that nurtured me. I have deep feelings for Wenzhou, where I grew up. I always cherish this land and miss the elders and fellow villagers here. I also hope to contribute to the development of my hometown with practical actions. In the future, I will continue to work hard and use my practical actions to give back to my hometown and make a greater contribution to the country."
As a torchbearer, Mr. Xie underwent comprehensive training and assessments in various aspects such as posture and physical fitness. Despite his busy schedule, he made thorough preparations, always appearing on time for training and assessments. In an interview after the conclusion of the Asian Games torch relay, Mr. Xie expressed his excitement and honor, stating, "I am very excited and honored. I am delighted to serve as a torchbearer for the Hangzhou leg of the Asian Games and cheer for my hometown. Today, I felt the strong atmosphere of the Asian Games along the way. During the torch handover, we all raised our thumbs to applaud the Asian Games athletes and wish them good results, showcasing high-level competition!"
